In order to become an active SDA member providing services for SDA's commercial customers, each organization must undergo the National Association of Information Destruction's AAA certification program audit. Because of this, you can rest easy knowing that SDA members providing services for national accounts operates in accordance with the highest industry standards.

NAID's AAA certification program is available only to NAID Member Companies. The program has certification opportunities for mobile, plant-based and combined mobile and plant-based operations plus an option for micro media operation certification. The certification, once achieved is effective for one year.

Under the program, the certification application and the fee cover only individual location. If a NAID member operates multiple locations, each location must pass the audit to be certified. NAID members who receive certification must specify the location certified in company literature referencing the NAID Certification Program.

The Auditor, a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) under an agreement with NAID, will conduct the Certification Audit.
